Hello!

My how the time is flying!  I'm not complaining though; I love the fact that I am now driving home in the light and not the dark and that the first snowdrops are poking their heads out.  In no time at all Spring will be knocking on the door and I for one look forward to it.

Time is also flying by since the arrival of Flossie, the Jack Russell pup.  Now 9 weeks old, she has been with us for a week and seems to be totally settled in.  She can now sit on command, and is beginning to learn to stay.  She's very bright, and I can see that if I'm not careful I'll become one of those competetive dog owners - my dog's brighter than your dog!!  Please save me from myself someone. 

In the shop we have a few new-to-us items; some lovely old baskets and mirrors, a couple of driftwood sculptures and some gorgeous cushions made from old blankets.  They really are special, made up as Union Jacks - pictures to follow shortly.  Retailing at £40 and £25 they would make a great Valentine's gift.  I've also got a very useful, and attractive old bedside cabinet with a carved door; almost Scandanavian in style.  I'll get the camera out and take some pictures of all the above and get them posted as soon as possible.
